TOGETHER, we can build community engagement that brings more opportunities for residents to come together, creating a support system within our community and building capacity to stay connected to one another.  I am so happy to see the success of the new pickleball courts and the large number of residents and visitors that enjoy the facility and are building new friendships.

We can maintain and improve our city’s parks and trails, creating more walkability and access to our business corridors and the great outdoor spaces of our community.  We can work together to create new opportunities and upgrade facilities that will bring families together. 

TOGETHER, we can continue to make public safety the highest priority and ensure that our Walnut Sheriff’s Department is provided with the resources they need to protect our residents.  During my tenure, we have added an additional patrol car and speed signage on Amar to address concerns of residents and focus on keeping streets safe for all drivers.

We can expand Neighborhood Watch and Volunteers on Patrol programs to increase public safety and incorporate social interactions that will strengthen our community.
